FAQ for Remote Access

As customers have accessed the system there have been questions. In most cases we have tried to address the issues here. If you do not see an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

How to register a new company account?

You can register by following these two steps.

Step 1 - Register
You will need to complete the information on the Registration Page. This will allow you to enter your information and submit the payment for the account setup.
You must provide a credit card, which will be charged a $25.00 dollar registration fee.
Step 2 - Confirm
Then you will receive two emails. The first email will ask you to confirm your registration. Once you have confirmed your registration, you will receive the second email.
The second will provide you with the server addresses and installation instructions for the Go-Global software. If you are not going to be using Go-Global then you do not have to do anything with this information

How to add new users into my Company account?

Once you have created your account you can always visit the Sign In Page to invite other users, people in your organization only, to use the service without any additional setup fees.
The co-workers that you invite will need to register as an “Invited User” on the Register page using the code they receive in the invite email. Please be sure to select "Invited User"

Invited users will not be required to pay for registration because their company will be billed for all their activity. You can invite as many users as you want.

How to remove users from my Company account?

Sign in to your account. Here you should see a list of people that you have invited to your account.
Beside each user you will see a red trash can. If you click on the trash can, it will deactivate that user.

I installed Go-Global, how can I connect to my county?

County server addresses are listed on Connection Info page, which will appear in your personal menu at the top right of the screen after you Sign In.

I just registered and installed Go-Global, but cannot login remotely.

It may take up to 24 hours for the new account credentials to become active in all counties. Please try again tomorrow.

I just updated my password, but cannot login to my county server.

It may take up to 24 hours to update user credentials in some counties.

How does the Print Fee Scale Work?

The more documents that you print the more money you will save.

The discount applies independently to each county.  It is not based on the overall cumulative amount.  So if you print 25 pages in Coffee County and 60 pages in Dallas County, the discount will only apply to Dallas County.

Please also note that the discount will not apply to prior items once you reach the break point.  For example, if you view 60 pages in Dallas County, the first 50 are 75¢, the next 10 will be 50¢ – the first 50 do not drop down to the lower price.

If you are a high volume user the cost of the views will decrease each month as you view documents. Please use the scale below for reference. The counts reset each month. The scale is per county, not all counties combined.
PageRangePer Page Cost
First 50(1-50)75¢
Next 50(51-100)50¢
Next 100(101-200)30¢
Next 100(201-300)20¢
Next 200(301-500)15¢
Additional(over 500)10¢

When I try to log into the system I get the following error: “Connection Failed. The number of users allowed on the host has already been reached.” – What causes this and how can I log in?

That error indicates that there is an issue with the equipment at the county.
please be assured that a technician is aware of the issue and is working to solve the problem.
The county will continue to appear as Online on the Status page. This is not an issue with your account.

You may also sign in to Psearch Online. This option gives you a better connection than Go-Global in some cases. If you have an account and use Go-Global, the same credentials will work with Psearch Online.

How far back to the records go and how current are they?

Syscon serves as a gateway to the counties. We do not interact with them daily and they are constantly updating the information in their systems.

Click on the “Counties Covered” link for more detail. By clicking on the name of each county you will be able to see a list of all documents available at that location. Syscon does not guarantee the accuracy of these lists and they should only be used as a general reference when searching for records. Please contact the individual counties for the most accurate information about their online records.

It is as current as you can access at any county location.

When you log into a County through the gateway service, you are actually accessing a computer in the County. Syscon does not maintain any data, it all belongs to the county.

I am having issues connecting, is the county online?

The easiest way to check is by visiting our County Status Page at this LINK.

By using this link, you will be able to see all the counties and their current status. The page will update automatically about every 15 minutes.

Can Syscon Find and Print My Documents?

Unfortunately, no, we can not provide you with any documents.

Our role is to simply provide you with access to the information on the county server. We can not access this information for you. If you only want one document, your options are to either visit the county or create an account for this one time use.
